What is a CRN Deadline?

CRN = Civil Remedy Notice

CRN, in a nutshell, is the deadline that an attorney has to file suit against an insurance carrier for bad faith. The Property Insurance Coverage Law Blog has a great article explaining its use:

    It may not be in in play in the state(s) you adjust in, so always best to check with an attorney if you should need to.

    In ClaimWizard, if you view Claim / Claim Summary you will see the following:

    The CRN Deadline needs to be manually tracked as per the state requirements and/or your client's insurance contract. Please consult with a law professional if you are unclear on how to calculate this deadline or how to use it.
