How can I share files from within ClaimWizard to others?

Objective

To share files with external parties such as insurance carriers, policyholders, attorneys, or vendors efficiently and securely.

Key Steps

  1. Access the claim within the Claim Wizard system.

  2. Navigate to the files section within the claim.

  3. Select the files you want to share.

  4. Click on the "Share" button.

  5. Choose to share the files as a link rather than an attachment for better tracking.

  6. Copy the link generated.

  7. Set the expiration time for the link if needed.

  8. Click on the "Share" button to activate the link.

  9. Share the copied link with the intended recipient.

  10. The recipient can then download the files either as a zip file or individually.

Cautionary Notes

  • Ensure that the files selected for sharing are accurate and relevant to the recipient.

  • Double-check the expiration time of the link to align with the recipient's needs.

  • Always click the "Share" button to activate the link before sharing it.

Tips for Efficiency

  • Use the "Send as a Link" option for better tracking and notification of file delivery.

  • Consider setting shorter or longer expiration times based on the urgency of file access.

  • Encourage recipients to download files promptly to avoid any link expiration issues.

You can share claim files externally by following:

Step 1

Open the Claim file that contains files you would like to share with an external person/company.

Step 2

Select the Files tabStep 3

Select the files you would like to share. This works the same as any file / folder selection tool.

Step 4

Click the SHARE icon above

To send files as a link, either select and copy the link OR fill out the recipient’s information (email and message.) Please note ClaimWizard does NOT record or track file links sent this way. If you require documentation that you have sent a recipient this link, please COPY/PASTE/SEND this link via your own email program.

ClaimWizard defaults to an expiration date of 30 days from the date of share. If you wish to change this date, be sure to modify the date before saving/sharing the link.

Step 6

Click the green SHARE button to activate the link.
