Objective

The objective of this SOP is to guide team members on how to effectively navigate and utilize the Claim Wizard Board View feature to manage open claims efficiently.

Key Steps

1. Assignee View:

   • Navigate to the Claim Wizard Board View.

   • Select the "Assignee" category to view open claims based on staff assignments.

   • Scroll left to right to view all assignable employees.

   • Click and drag to reassign claims to different staff members.

   • Utilize the tooltip feature to identify staff roles on each claim.

2. Carriers View:

   • Choose the "Carriers" category to view open claims based on insurance carriers.

   • Scroll horizontally to view different carriers and their respective claims.

   • Sort claims by oldest to newest or alphabetically within carriers.

   • Click on a claim to open and view detailed information.

3. Perils View:

   • Access the "Perils" category to view claims categorized by types of perils.

   • Review common perils such as flood, fire, etc.

   • Note that changing perils is done in the full claim summary, not in the Board View.

4. Phases View:

   • Navigate to the "Phases" category to view claims based on their current phase.

   • Drag and drop claims to change phases for easy workflow management.

   • Monitor automatic updates and saving of changes in the bottom right-hand corner.

5. Reason for Opening View:

   • Explore the "Reason for Opening" category to see claims based on their workflow status.

   • Understand that this view does not allow direct manipulation of data; it provides a quick overview of claim statuses.

Cautionary Notes

• Avoid changing critical claim details, such as carriers or perils, directly in the Board View.

• Ensure proper understanding of staff roles and claim assignments to prevent errors in reassignment.

Tips for Efficiency

• Customize card sizes for better visibility of claim details.

• Utilize drag-and-drop functionality for quick phase changes.

• Experiment with different themes for personalized data visualization.

• Contact support for any issues or feedback during the beta testing phase to enhance the Claim Wizard Board View feature.
